I can hear you now saying “Wait just one second! Superman is from Krypton!” This is an inarguable fact; however, his earliest roots are in here in Ohio.
Created in 1932 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman is the reason these comic book heroes bear a “Super” moniker. This is why OHS’s own, Mark Butler, started a petition to make Superman the official superhero of Ohio.
