The Ohio Historical Society, in conjunction with the National Digital Newspaper Program, will be presenting a free webinar demonstrating how to use the Library of Congress’s Chronicling America. Chronicling America is a freely-available, keyword-searchable, digital newspaper database containing almost 4 million newspaper pages from all over the nation – including Ohio – published between 1836 to 1922. Please join the National Digital Newspaper Program in Ohio staff to learn all about this great resource and how it can be incorporated into History Day research and other lesson plans.
The webinar will be held on September 13, 2011 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
One contact hour will be provided to all educators who attend the webinar.
To register or for questions, please contact Jenni Salamon at jsalamon@ohiohistory.org or 614-297-2579.
