Government Services October and November 2010 Report

In the past two months the State Archives appraised records at the Attorney General’s Office, Ohio EPA, the Ohio Board of Regents, Department of Natural Resources, and met with legislative aides and staff of the General Assembly’s House Clerk’s Office.  State Archives staff also attended the fall meeting of CARMA, the County Archivists and Records Managers Association of Ohio, hosted this year by the Stark County Records Center in Canton.  The primary purpose of the association is to provide a forum for professional discussion and information sharing among county records professionals in Ohio.  Attendees discussed records management issues, toured the Stark County Records Center, and viewed a presentation on “Family Search.”
