Civil War Documents Bring the Past to Life

The collections staff was excited to host Columbus Dispatch columnist Joe Blundo in the Archives/Library reading room on September 30 and give him a look at one of our newest manuscript acquisitions: 534 muster and pay rolls for Ohio military units and individual Ohio soldiers who served in the Civil War.

The collection is available to the public in the Archives/Library reading room at the Ohio Historical Center. Open hours are:

  • Thursday, 10-7
  • Friday, 10-5
  • Saturday, 10-5
