The W.P. Snyder, Jr. will soon be back home on the bank of the Ohio River and ready for visitors. Repairs by McGinnis, Inc. are complete. The Snyder, the only steam-powered, sternwheel towboat that still exists, will arrive at the Ohio River Museum in Marietta on September 17. Pieces of the orginal hull that were removed from the W.P. Snyder, Jr. during the course of repairs will be preserved in the Ohio Historical Society history collections.
