April 19-21, a small team of Curatorial and Exhibit staff from the Ohio Historical Center traveled to the the National Road and Zane Grey Museum to update the Zanesville Pottery exhibit.

Working with material that was already at the museum, the staff cleaned, rearranged, and rewrote labels in order to make the exhibit less cluttered and easier to understand.

Employees of the site assisted in updating the Pottery Exhibit.

This “exhibit facelift” was done in preparation for the National Road and Zane Grey Museum season opening this week, May 1.

Rearranging the exhibit created room for the display of several of the smaller pottery firms of Zanesville in the Pottery room.

This exhibit can be seen Wednesday thru Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM. For more information about the site including admission costs and directions, please visit the OHS Site page.

  1. Thank you for what you do. Many of my ancestors came through Ohio.
Welcome to the Geneabloggers family. Hope you find the association fruitful; I sure do. I have found it most stimulating, especially some of the Daily Themes.

May you keep sharing your ancestor stories!
